Lost my dear friend, Karen, this evening...her smile and amazing light and spirit are surely brightening heaven tonight.
Gotta go with Dolly again...."Light of a Clear Blue Morning" is just a beautiful song...and I love that it ends with such an upbeat spirit...which is how I know she would want us to feel...

Heading into NYC for several meetings today...and anticipating a busy, but productive day.
Trying to keep things in balance...Dolly Parton's song "Travelin' Thru" popped into my mind.
I love Dolly....her spirit just makes me feel good...exactly the kind of energy I want around me today and going forward.
"Travelin' Thru" is the theme song from the 2005 film, Transamerica, and was nominated for an Academy Award, Golden Globe and Grammy Award. Go Dolly!
And I love the lyrics to the song...they really ring true! Here are my favorite parts:
